The Singularity

Presented by the Fannywaterman Collective, The Singularity was a science fiction musical comedy that plunged deep into the inner sanctums of the galaxy. The story followed Scarlett Lashes (Jess Haugh) who awakes to find herself 27,000 light years from Earth, incarcerated alongside her only companion, the T2500 Android (Bronwyn Bent). As they careen toward a super-massive black hole, the pair sing and dance their way through cosmic soup, reflecting on past loves and new fancies, ultimately seeking a place of acceptance. The production featured music by Bede Maclaurin (Cosmic Ray and Synth master) and James Cox (guitar and bass guru).
