Cinema Obscura 8
The eighth instalment of Cinema Obscura featured Roman Polanski's atmospheric film Cul-de-sac (1966), preluded by an episode of Look Around You, an absurd British series dealing with science in every-day life.
Cinema Obscura was a series of regular cinematic events, curated by Cross St Studios member Sean Monro and hosted in the gallery space. Each event paired a short film with a feature-length film, aimed at showcasing a range of cinematic expressions and supporting emerging local filmmakers. These screenings were always free and open to the public.
