Glitches in FantasyLand
Presented by the pioneering independent festival Ladyfest, Glitches in FantasyLand was a theatrical, interdisciplinary and unconventional spectacle that combined movement, aerial arts and live cinema within the intimate setting of the Cross St Studios gallery.
The evening featured performances by Eve Gordon, Sarah Birdgirl, Tahi Mapp-Boren and a solo by choreographer Alexa Wilson. Wilson's piece, Make [it] Up, was a revival of a work originally conceived in 2003 that used dance, comedy and performance art to playfully and satirically question gender and identity in the early internet age.
