MAKING LOVE TO THE AUDIENCE 1

For the inaugural event in the series MAKING LOVE TO THE AUDIENCE, organiser The Dust Palace presented a wild variety of performances including naked aerials, angle-grinding, fine melodies, fire-eating and bizarre films.

MAKING LOVE TO THE AUDIENCE was a bi-monthly event designed to foster new, unfiltered performative ideas from Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland's artistic community. Completely inclusive, the series embraced the DIY spirit of the underground scene and provided a non-judgmental venue for acts that might not otherwise have a home. These evenings were structured with short films interspersed throughout the live acts and often included unique sensory elements.
