Blinkers
For one night only, Leonard Company presented Blinkers, an absurd tragi-comedy that distilled a complex love story into a sharp, 50-minute performance.
Written and directed by Sophie Roberts, and performed by Dan Musgrove and Natalie Medlock, this two-hander play explored the unlikely connection between two neighbours: a rock and roll musician, and a horse enthusiast; the narrative focusing on the humorous and poignant difficulties of communication over small, yet insurmountable, distances. The production of Blinkers was characterised by a minimalist set design, with lighting and sound design by Karl Jenkins.
