Bang Bang Bang
–
Bang Bang Bang was a visceral, process-driven exhibition by Cross St Studios member Haley Williams that physically challenged traditional notions of painting and gallery display. Creating her works by using a gun to shoot coloured paintballs directly onto the gallery walls, Williams flipped the act of painting into a confrontational, action-based performance which temporarily altered the architecture of the space.
The exhibition's closing night featured a live sound performance by experimentalist Nigel Wright. Bang Bang Bang was supported by Producer Print Management, Kim Crawford Wines and Framing Matters.
