Eugene Chadbourne

As part of his national tour, American musician and polemicist Eugene Chadbourne brought his "incendiary brand of electrified be-bop hillbilly improv" to Cross St Studios.

Known for his eclectic style, Chadbourne’s performance featured his unique invention, the Electric Rake—a gardening tool with electrical pickups—alongside improvised banjo playing. He was joined by local musicians including Phil Dadson and John Radford.w
